Beep, beep, beep
As my alarm screamed
in the morning
I slowly put up my arms
And sleepy dressed me
Sometimes with red
and others with blue
Stumbles to my bathroom
And brushed my teeth
With toothpaste
Washes my face
With the fairy-tale face wash
Great.
Watching the sun fall
As my battery drops
I slowly plug it
With my pink unicorn plug
Watching it recharge
As I recharge too
But not with the plug
But with my mermaid blanket
Along with my unicorn baby
Who recharges with my
Ever since she’s here.
Waking up is one of the hardest things in the morning. However, I want to find some fun in it so I wrote this poem.
